Hoa Lu is is the capital of Vietnam during the Dinh (968-980) and arly Le ( 980-1009) dynasties. The site was a smart choice for a captital city because of the natural protection afforded by the region’s bizarre landscape. While Tam Coc boasts stuning scenery with caves.

Tour Format:

Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc ( ~90 KM)

07.30 AM: We will ride on mortobike heading to the South to Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh.

On the way, we have a chance to see the wonderful landscape of the countryside.

Upon arrival to Hoa Lu, our tour guide take you to Hoa Lu, the former capital of Dai Viet ,where we will visit Dinh and Le Temple .

On motorbike to Tam Coc where we will have lunch before getting on the boat rowed 3hours by local people along tiny canal among green rice fields & great lime stone mountains to understand why it have been named “Ha Long bay on land”.

Check in the hotel in Tam Coc . Free time to visit embroidery villages & peaceful life of red river countryside .

Overnight at the hotel in Tam Coc, Ninh Binh

Day 2: Tam Coc- Cuc Phuong National Park – Hanoi ( ~140 km)

07h30 AM: Biking an hour on picturesque quiet roads throughNinh Binh villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops to Cuc Phuong national park . We take a 2 hours trek through the old rainforest Then we have lunch on the forest.

After having lunch, we will visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre to learn about the important work being done to help protect the endangered species of the park and biking back to Hanoi.

End trip.

What To Bring?

We suggest for motorcycle touring with these items:

-CLOTHING: rain gloves, Wellington boots (rubber boots for rainy season from April to September), summer gloves, balaclava, t-shirts, socks & underwear, long sleeved shirts, turtleneck shirts, extra jeans, a light jacket, leather chaps, zip-lock bags, riding boots, bandanas, sunglasses and goggles.

-PERSONAL ITEMS: original Passport, basic toiletries, emergency cash, sunscreen and earplugs.

-EMERGENCY ITEMS: a first aid kit, emergency contact number, list medical conditions, list medications, a flashlight, chargers and a duct tape.

-MISCELLANEOUS : a small towel, a bath towel, trash bags, camera and cargo net...and probably some gifts for children.
